Signature
A signature is a personalized block of text that is appended to a message.
Appending a signature to messages increases the character count of the
message. The signature is not displayed in the message composer.
To configure signatures in both iOS and Android devices:
- Tap Settings > Chats > Signature.
- Type your signature in the text box.
- In the Add signature to messages section, select one of the following
modes:
| Signature Mode | Description |
| Manually | In the message composer, tap the Attachments icon > Signature to manually add the signature to each message. |
| Always | The signature is automatically appended to each message. |
| First outgoing message in a thread | The signature is automatically appended to the first message sent in a thread. |
| Daily | The signature is added daily to the first message sent in a thread. |
Note
Signature is not supported for the location, contact, and audio clip media
types.
