Please find below some of the limitations of the WhatsApp Phone Archiver:
- Mobile voice calls are recorded from the mobile phone.
- In mobile video calls only the audio channel is being recorded.
- In recorded group calls, the metadata of participants might not include all people on the group call (this restriction does not apply in 1-on-1 calls).
- If you switch off your phone for long periods while using WhatsApp Web/Desktop, we recommend adding WPA+.
- Works as the consumer version of the WhatsApp application (not with WhatsApp Business app), which must be activated with mobile phones.
- Old devices might experience higher battery usage in case the Battery Saver Wake-up mode was not activated.
- On Android devices, broadcast messages are indicated from the sending party only.
- Files exceeding the maximum allowed archive file size will be archived with name and type, but the file itself won’t be archived.
- For the Android version, Google Drive backup is not available
- Share Extension feature disabled.
- Screen broadcast sharing disabled.
- Companion Mode disabled.
