Before discontinuing a number from Verizon’s service, remove the number from the assigned archive account:

  1. Log into My Business Enterprise Portal as an admin.
  2. Navigate to Actions and click on Move Wireless Number.
  3. Complete the transfer of the number from designated message archive account to a different account not intended for archiving.
  4. Choose the number you want to transfer and click on the Deactivate option in the status
