Many smartphone users can take advantage of Dual-SIM technology since most Android smartphones today come with such technology. Having two SIM cards allows people to use two mobile phone numbers at the same time and some might even want to do the same when it comes to WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has become popular  as its feature set was unique and widely appreciated. Its major rival Skype may have been known for its excellence in both voice and video calling, but it was designed for the PC and its smartphone feature add-ons were less compelling. WhatsApp lets users send text messages, voice calls, recorded voice messages, video calls, images, documents, and even user location.

Many people use WhatsApp to connect with their family and friends without having to use different applications to send various types of messages, and some companies even allow their employees to use such apps. Using one WhatsApp account, however, lets both an employee’s personal friends and those within the company see if one is online or not. A WhatsApp user can receive work-related messages while in the middle of a private conversation just because he or she is seen as online by a co-worker. Thus, a compelling reason to use two WhatsApp accounts is to separate personal messages from work-related ones.

It’s possible to use two WhatsApp accounts in one smartphone, and there are several ways for people to do this.

Use Multiple User Profiles on Android

Some Android smartphones allow users to set up two user profiles on their devices, letting them download a secondary WhatsApp application for their phones and to use it with the second user profile.

Many people using Lollipop Androids, at the very least,or some custom ROMs, can set up multiple user profiles on their phones. Users will first need to go to Settings, click Users, and either choose either Add User or add a Guest account. Alternatively, people can pull down the notification bar, tap the user icon, and then tap on either Add Guest or Add User.

Android users will then need to provide complete details to set up their new accounts.

Switching to the New User will provide you with an all-new phone interface with default phone settings And enable you to install WhatsApp on the second user profile.

After installation, entering the necessary details and providing your account number are the final steps to set up your new WhatsApp account.

Clone, Run and Manage Multiple Accounts

Another option is to clone the app as some companies like Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, and Honor offers the “Dual Apps” or “Dual Mode” feature that lets people use two accounts on one application. The feature can have different names per phone brand. Xiaomi has “Dual Apps,” Samsung has “Dual Messenger,” Oppo has “Clone Apps,” Vivo has “App Clone,” Asus has “Twin Apps,” and both Huawei and Honor has “App Twin.”

Android users will need to open the dual apps option in the Settings then choose which app to duplicate. After the app is cloned, you can  use the duplicated WhatsApp with another phone number.

Some smartphones don’t come with cloning features, however, but people can still clone their apps using a third-party application.

Use WhatsApp Archiver

Companies that allow their employees to use WhatsApp for business communications can get a robust WhatsApp Archiver that functions the same way as the official WhatsApp messaging app.

Companies that allow their employees to use WhatsApp can improve collaboration among employees, supervisors, and managers.Furthermore, using a WhatsApp archiver brings the benefit of being able to comply with regulatory requirements to capture and record messages, including WhatsApp messages.

Using WhatsApp Archiver lets a company’s employees communicate using WhatsApp, capture WhatsApp messages including texts, multimedia, documents, and deleted messages, and search and filter messages. Being able to archive messages allows a company to stay compliant with SEC, FINRAIIROCMiFID II, and FCA’s regulatory requirements.
