Signal Capture Android Installation / Upgrade.

1. Allow Installation from Unknown Sources

Before you install/upgrade the Signal Capture (TM SGNL app), ensure that your phone settings allow installations from unknown sources.
Some devices will have a single setting control for all installing applications. Some devices will have a dedicated setting for each application used to install the app.
The Installing applications can be your web browser or your file manager application. For dedicated settings, you should enable it according to your installation method.
For example, if you are using Chrome, search if Chrome security setting allows it. If you are using another browser or app do the same for it.

Open device Settings and tap
Select ‘Apps’.

     →

Tap ‘Manage apps’.

      →

Search for your choice of browser or app.

    →

Scroll down and tap ‘Install apps
from unknown source’.

      →

Enable ‘Allow from this source’.

If you didn’t enable Install apps from
unknown sources
prior to launching
the installation process, a warning message
will display. Tap ‘SETTINGS’ and enable
the setting as shown above.

If, during the installation/upgrading process
a warning popup appears, tap ‘OK’

If, during the installation / upgrading process a “Blocked by Play Protect” popup appears, tap ‘INSTALL ANYWAY’

2. App Installation

Navigate from your mobile browser to: https://www.telemessage.com/installsgapctrandroid

In the App Center web page, tap ‘DOWNLOAD’.

     →

You might need to confirm the download.
Tap ‘Open’.

    →

Tap ‘INSTALL’.

     →

The application will install/upgrade. Tap ‘OPEN’
and continue the registration process.

See registration instructions below or start using the app in case you are upgrading.

3. TM SGNL Registration

Take note, during the registration process, you will be asked to give the app permission to access your calls, contacts, media, and other permissions. Tap ‘allow’ to all.

Open the app and tap ‘CONTINUE’.

Enter the number specified in your
onboarding welcome email and tap ‘NEXT’.

     →

Verify your phone number and tap ‘OK’.

          →

Enter the pin code sent to you via SMS.
Take note, if your pin code doesn’t arrive via SMS you can choose to receive it via call.

Enter your profile details and tap ‘NEXT’.

         →

Enter a pin-code and tap ‘NEXT’.

       →

Enter the pin-code again and tap ‘NEXT’.
You will be asked to enter it again from
time to time for app privacy.

That’s it! You are ready to go.
