On the 1st of June 2023 WhatsApp implemented a native EDIT feature.
A user may edit only his own outgoing messages for the 15 minutes after sending, in 1:1 and group threads.
Broadcast threads are not available for editing.

Multiple editing
Like WhatsApp, TeleMessage uses the same Message_ID as an anchor for edited messages. For each EDIT archive, the Original Message ID is the same. And while we do not have implementation for referring IDs you see the Original Message ID added to the Edited Message_ID. It may look redundant in the archive itself, but not in the database when we do not see the context.

Limitation:
Unlike the TeleMessage WhatsApp Phone Archiver, the WhatsApp Cloud Archiver archives edited caption message together with attachment for every occurrence.
For attachment larger than 25 Mb attachment is not sent in archive, but it includes standard explanation about size limit.
