Can we forward inbound IP messages to our SFTP site.

In short, Yes.

Here is how. Our forwarding capabilities support posting replies and messages to external URLs. We will send an XML with the status/reply/message – which can include pictures as well. We are able to do it over HTTP/HTTPS – which is a different protocol than FTP. (HTTPS is for streaming data, while SFTP is for file transfer, our system does not always generate a file when sending the information – since we stream it).
