To provision company employees for the Bell Network Archiver

Provide the data below and forward it to your Bell account manager and the TeleMessage support team

  1. Worksheet 1: Employee data for text archiving

List of employees for which you would like to activate mobile archiving

Sample entry as follows:

    • First Name – will be used to identify the user
    • Last Name – will be used to identify the user
    • Bell Mobile Phone – Enter the international number format, activation PIN will be sent to this mobile phone
    • Email Address- will be passed as metadata to the archive with each archived message
    • Billing Account Number (BAN) – Enter the Bell Wireless Account number for this specific mobile phone
  1. Worksheet 2: Account details and your enterprise information

    • Admin First Name – The personal name of the individual responsible for the mobile subscription in your company
    • Admin Last Name – The family name of the individual responsible for the mobile subscription in your company
    • Admin Primary Email Address The email address of the individual responsible for the mobile subscription in your company
    • Admin Primary Phone Number – The cell phone number of the individual responsible for the mobile subscription in your company
    • Company Name The customer/client purchasing the archiving service
    • Company Billing Account Number – Unique identifier for Bell Wireless account, nine digits, beginning with “5” (format:”599999999″, 9 characters) and usually displayed on your invoice
    • Archiving Company: Specify here the customer’s archiving platform recipient, for example: Global Relay, Jatheon, Bloomberg, Zix, Intradyn, etc.
    • Archiving Destination: Specify here necessary additional archiving platform information
  2. TeleMessage registers the users in the above spreadsheet on the TeleMessage platform and activates them for archiving to the destination shared above. It can take TeleMessage up to 5 business days to complete the registration. Once the registration is complete – assuming the Bell numbers have been provisioned for archiving by Bell and there is no SMS/MMS block on these numbers, the archiving begins.
  3. TeleMessage sends out a welcome letter to the customer administrator with the setup information and instructions regarding archiving.
  4. Alternatives to the above spreadsheet registration:
    • The service activation for your employees can be done directly from your Bell portal with the Bell business team.
    • Or, you can signup your employees yourself, via the TeleMessage admin portal as explained here.

Prerequisites for Message Capture

  • Both SMS and MMS (Text and picture messaging) must be enabled for each number in order for the number to be enabled for the Bell Network Archiving Service.
  • The Service is for use only with Bell Corporate devices.
  • Any sort of Enhanced Messaging Service, for example: iMessage on iPhone devices and RCS on Android devices should be disabled for the message archiving to work.
