How to disable Google messages on Android phones

1. Long tap on the native Messages app.
2. Tap the app info (i) icon, Messaging app and choose the regular Messages icon (The bubble with the ‘…’).
3. Another way is to search on the device settings RCS > RCS chats > Toggle OFF Turn on RCS chats.
