Messaging International Plc ('the Company')
Qwest launches Text-to-Landline service with TeleMessage

Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded provider of innovative messaging services, has, through its 100% owned subsidiary, TeleMessage Ltd, signed an agreement with a leading US based communications group, Qwest, to launch its Text-to-Landline service.

The Text to Landline application allows Qwest customers to create and send text messages to Qwest and other home phones. The home phone recipient can then respond using their own voice back to the Qwest wireless customer. The Qwest wireless customer will also receive a status text message informing them if the message was delivered to a live person or a voicemail system and a reply text message if the home phone recipient replies.

Messaging International CEO Guy Levit said, "This is another hugely exciting deal for TeleMessage and reiterates the importance of the Text-to-Landline technology we have developed. Whether the application is used by teenagers to contact their parents when running late or business professionals when time is short but the message is crucial, Text-to-Landline is increasingly being seen as a must-have service."

Qwest subscribers pay standard text message rates for Text to Landline messages and Messaging International will receive a percentage of this.
