TeleMessage completing internal financing round
TeleMessage has developed bi-directional universal communications services

By Tsafrir Bashan.

TeleMessage is on the verge of completing an internal financing round of several million dollars. According to TeleMessage Israel managing director Guy Levit, the company has not approached external investors at all. "We didn't look for outside money," he said. "An internal round saves time and headaches."

TeleMessage developed bi-directional universal communications services. Its products facilitate transmission of voice, video, and textual messages between the Internet to any telephone device, whether stationary or mobile.

The company has revenues of only a few hundred thousand dollars to date, but it is negotiating for a big deal with a leading US telecommunications company. Up until now, TeleMessage has sold mostly to small US wireless companies. Levit says these are older, well-established companies that control 10-20% of the US communications market, and not CLECS (competitive local exchange carriers).

TeleMessage has 25 employees.
