Messaging International Plc ('the Company')
Sale of Rights to Intellectual Property

Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded provider of innovative messaging services, has sold the rights to intellectual property it developed and for which a patent was granted in 2006 to a US based invention company for $700,000 (approximately £350,000).

The patent, received in 2006, is a method for identifying a message selection made at a mobile station, which enables users to seamlessly reply to messages across various messaging services. Messaging International will be able to continue to use the patent for its products and services through the sale agreement.

Guy Levit, CEO at TeleMessage said, "This transaction highlights the Company's advanced technological and innovative capabilities. Our in-house R&D team continues to generate cutting-edge products to service the growing demands of our clients, hungry for the latest messaging technology and keen to adopt new user-friendly methods of communication."
